The Hartsfield Village Assisted Living apartments licensed by the State of Indiana have nursing presence 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, to assist with the activities of daily living. This is provided in a residential setting that is beautiful to the eye as well as the spirit. SHIFT:Full-time: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm (includes every other weekend)WHAT YOU WILL DO:Responsible for providing assistance with daily living activities such as hygiene measures including: bathing, oral hygiene, skin care, and hair and nail careAssisting with preventative, therapeutic, and restorative nursing procedures by taking vital signs and weights and transporting residents using wheel chair, walkers, lifts and other assistive devicesMust have the ability to communicate with residents and staff in an understandable, honest, and caring manner and be able to safely perform essential job functions. Report physical or behavioral changes in residents, clarify any questions about assignments with charge nurse, and be flexible and adaptive to change. Must maintain Resident unit and work area in clean and safe manner by using only approved items and handling equipment and supplies to avoid waste or breakagePerform other tasks as requiredREQUIREMENTS:CNA Certificate in good standing on file with the Indiana Nursing Assistant RegistryCPR card High School Diploma or equivalentAbility to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs.WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?The Certified Nursing Assistant is vital to maintaining our commitment and responsibility to provide high quality care and a comfortable day to day life to the residents of Hartsfield Village.
