I further attest that all information I submit in my employment application is true to the best of my knowledge.Job DescriptionOBJECTIVES/PURPOSEProvide support and technical expertise to enable clinical partner outsourcing to ensure financial predictability for clinical trialsManage and maintain standards, templates, processes and tracking used to support clinical partner outsourcing ACCOUNTABILITIESSupport execution of cost analysis of services externalized to clinical suppliers in line with trial delivery operating modelsProvide technical expertise and system ownership for budget tools and technology (eg, Airtable, Grant Plan, CMR, etc.) to support cost validation exercises - primary system user and enablerManage and maintain tools to execute cost comparisons across key categories (eg, suppliers, therapeutic areas, programs) used to evaluate outliers and ensure cost standardizationProvide skilled expertise in financial analysis and develop analytical models and reports to support cost comparison exercisesMaintain data repositories, shared file systems such as Teams and Sharepoint, and functional filesParticipate in system and process improvements related to supplier cost excellence to ensure financial predictability for clinical trialsEnable technology to support cost validations, scenario planning, benchmarking exercises, etc and conduct external technology assessments as requiredEnsure compliance with all applicable internal policies, procedures and regulationsParticipate in other partnership engagement communications, activities and stakeholder engagementLead or participate in special projects and initiatives to support the businessEDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES, AND SKILLSBachelors degree required; advanced technical degree (eg, MBA) or certifications (eg, PMP, CPA) preferred4+ years of applicable financial analysis experience, preferably in an R&D settingClinical trial experience strongly recommendedExperience preferred with key clinical supplier categories (CRO, Central Labs, Clinical Technologies, etc)Technical proficiency with financial tools and systems (ClearTrial, Excel) and demonstrated aptitude for technology and business systemsAbility to develop, maintain and manage clinical supplier cost strategies and processesAbility to support multiple initiatives in a fast paced environmentAdvanced project management skills requiredAbility to assess issues/risks and effectively implement remediation measuresAbility to comprehend and synthesize complex financial data, identify issues and trends and develop/implement solutionsExperience supporting a complex organization and demonstrated ability to work across functions and regionsExcellent communicator with strong written and verbal presentation skillsCOMPENSATIONBase Salary Range: $102,200 to $146,000 based on candidate professional experience level. Employee may also be eligible for Short-term and Long-term incentive benefits. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical, Dental.
