The manager identifies the cost-effective systems needed to support the business of the department, taking into account business trends, resource availability and changes in customers related to our service to the Bone Marrow Transplant population. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies, including patient''s physicians, employees, volunteers, and vendors. The manager identifies and remedies through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement. Education: Bachelor''s degree in nursing required. Master''s degree in nursing or related field preferred.Experience: Five (5) years'' experience in management, preferable in a hospital setting with experience to include management of personnel, payroll, budgets, capital, business planning, marketing, and physician relations Previous management in critical care required, clinical or leadership experience with the cardiac intensive care population highly preferredLicensure: Current Texas RN license or compact license. Current AHA or ARC BLS. Certification in nursing specialty or leadership preferred.
