IMPORTANT NOTE: To be considered for this position, please note the following requirements: * Active DoD Security Clearance/TS/SCI (or the ability to obtain clearance) * IAT Level I, II, III certification (or ability to obtain certification prior to employment) * U.S. Citizenship * Minimum of a Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology or Cybersecurity AND 12 years'' experience JOB OVERVIEW: * Provides support in on-boarding and normalization/homogenization of customer CSSP requirements in traditional ''on premise,'' as well as cloud environments. * Supports cyber security architecture, incident coordination, infrastructure, and custom applications. * Supports DoD Host Based System Security Baseline Infrastructure for the DCO. * Prepares Technical Reports (draft, edits, and maintenance of documentation and policies and procedures). ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes the following (but not limited to) * Produce guidance for the NIWC CSSP enclave. * Assist with risk assessments and risk management for organizations within the enclave. * Manage the technical classifications within the Incident Coordination organization. * Provide coordination and required documentation of significant incidents with USCYBERCOM. * Provide support for the CSSP''s Incident Response 24x7 support capability during non-core business hours consistent with CSSP requirements. * Provide, develop, and maintain a network forensic analysis capability to investigate incidents to provide a clearer view of the exploits, vulnerabilities, and TTPs used to cause the incident. * Interface with external organizations (e.g., public affairs, law enforcement, Command, or Component Inspector General) to ensure appropriate and accurate dissemination of incident/other DCO information as prescribed in NIWC CSSP approved SOPs. * Assist the NIWC CSSP with risk analysis and management activities, track compliance audit findings, incident after-action reports, and recommendations for appropriate mitigation actions. * Assist program leadership with status reports, white papers, weekly activity report, and other ad hoc requirements as necessary. REQUIRED - EXPERIENCE: * Federal government contracting experience required. REQUIRED - KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: * Working knowledge of Risk Management Framework. * Working knowledge of DHA (Department of Health Agency) mission and environment. * Working knowledge of DoD Networks. * Working knowledge of the DoD orders process. * Working knowledge of USCYBERCOMMAND and JFHQ-DODIN Cyber Tasking Orders (CTO). * Working knowledge of researching and writing white papers, compliance reports, and assessment reports in support activities for defining policy. * Working knowledge of developing briefing materials, administrative, and logistic support. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. * Working knowledge of Combatant Commands. * Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) enabling precise conveyance of information across all customer sections/proper enunciation of the English language. * Excellent Senior Leadership and General Officer / Flag Officer (GO/FO) leadership briefing skills. * Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking/problem solving skills. * Ability to be flexible, dependable, and multi-task with evolving priorities. * Ability to provide excellent customer service. EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: * Ability to sign and abide by a non-disclosure agreement. * Drug Screen/Background Check: * Must be able to successfully pass a Federal background check and drug screen. * COVID: * Cherokee Federal employees are included as covered employees in U.S. Presidential Executive Order 14042, which mandates COVID vaccines for federal contractors. * Executive Order 14042 is currently blocked from enforcement pending court proceedings. Therefore, Cherokee Federal is halting the application of the mandate; however, if the injunction is lifted, Cherokee Federal will restore administration of the vaccine requirement. WORK ENVIRONMENT: * Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office environment. * Work may require travel (including overnight stays).
