The Company operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. This a full-time position 30-32 hours a week; shift hours for this position are 5am to Noon; rate of pay is $16.00 per hour.The Breakfast Bar Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all food and beverage is served to guests according to Company standards and sets up the dining area daily. Ensures side work is complete prior to meal service and prior to leaving for the day. Prepares breakfast food items per company standards and other items as designated by supervisor, following approved guidelines. Ensures food is of proper quality and quantity. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of all work surface areas, food service areas, coolers, tables, counters, chairs, and floor. Follows the ''clean as you always go policy. Monitors guest food consumption and plans accordingly.Essential Functions Ensure that breakfast bar area is set-up per standards and specifications and that the appropriate food / beverage items are displayed.Ensure that all equipment is in working order and clean; rectify any deficiencies and report maintenance problems to the manager or engineering. Prepare and place in designated holding areas at specified temperatures.Defrost food, clean, and prepare produce as assigned.Maintain supply levels of stock, food, and beverages to designated amounts throughout scheduled hours of operation.Monitor and maintain the quality of all food and cleanliness on service lines.Anticipate usage levels and replenishment as necessary.Remove soiled trays and wares from the dining tables and separate items at breakdown station.Wipe dining tables clean and replenish tabletop condiments throughout the shift.Clean up spills immediately.Clean and sanitize service lines, beverage dispensing equipment and other equipment, following plete closing side duties as assigned.Clean and organize supply/storage closets.Report any equipment damages, safety hazards, maintenance problems and personnel problems to the Manager.Sweep and mop the floor.All other duties as assigned by manager.Qualifications The Company may consider equivalent combination of acceptable education and experience providing the knowledge, skills and abilities cited below.Education and Experience High school diploma or GEDOne or more years of related experienceFamiliarity with hospitality industry practices preferredSkills and Abilities Special knowledge or skills necessary for this position:Minimum legal age to serve alcoholic beveragesKnowledge of workplace safety proceduresLicenses, certification or registrations required for this position:N/AAbility to understand and provide friendly guest service. Ability to understand and comply with proper food preparation, cooking, handling and storage. Ability to understand and comply with kitchen sanitation, safety and equipment usage. Ability to operate a phone and other office equipment. Attention to details with good organizational and efficient time management skills. Consistent professional behavior with effective listening and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-pacedenvironment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient. Ability to satisfy the legal requirements for employment within the jurisdiction.Working Conditions and Physical Effort Exert physical effort in lifting/transporting at least 50 pounds without assistance; push/pull cart and other equipment up to 250 pounds; endure various physical movements throughout crowded work and event areas.Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for extended periods of time; constantly lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise move objects; extended periods of standing, reaching above head to move items, walking, stooping, and lifting. Requires close vision with or without corrective lenses.
