Desk Registered Nurse

A cancer treatment clinic in the Round Rock location is looking to bring on 2 Desk Nurses to help support the site. These nurses will be responsible for helping room new patients, perform nurse visits for any new oncology patients, and inform them on the patient care to expect. They will be responsible for answering chat messages, helping with prescription refills, ordering labs, and answering general/clinical questions. The Desk RN will also coordinate care with outside facilities, work closely with the scheduling department to reschedule patients, answer triage calls, respond to faxes, and help with prior authorizations. Minimum Requirements1+ years of experience working within an acute care setting2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in TexasBLS Certified Desired SkillsOCN Certified Oncology Experience
