Maintenance TechnicianReports to: Maintenance Manager Direct Reports: No Location: Hudson, WI Employment Type: Full Time Main Purpose of JobUnder general direction, responsible for the repair of all tools and machinery. Performs minor maintenance at Nor-Lake facilities and on Nor-Lake vehicles.Examples of DutiesPerform minor maintenance on plant and office electrical systems, ability to learn where all switches and breakers are located and what areas each serve.Repair all foam systems, presses, and related equipment such as guns, pumps, and conveyors.Performs maintenance and repairs on trucks, fork lifts, tractors, sweepers, and robots.Performs all minor building repair work on doors, docks, windows, and floors.Assists and works with outside contractors such as fork lift repair etc.Assist the Lead Mechanic in requisitioning parts to maintain a workable inventory of spare parts as recommended by the service manuals.Assists the Lead Mechanic in requisition of supplies such as pipe, channel, angles, all oil, grease, filters, and other miscellaneous supplies.Builds fixtures, machine attachments etc. from engineering sketch and/or plies with all safety regulations and company policies, familiar with lockout/tagout.Responsible for housekeeping around his/her general area and returning tools to the proper locations.May be required to fill in for Lead Mechanic in his/her absence.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesBasic knowledge on sprinkler system and alarms, also be familiar with security systems.Skill in using all types of hand and power tools.Ability to read and interpret parts list, gauges, charts, diagrams, and other printsKnowledgeable in welding.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED/HSED. Two years'' maintenance experience in a production facility, with experience in the electrical field. Nor-Lake is an EEO employer as defined by the EEOC.
