We are also home to EyeMed, the fastest growing vision care company in the United States.To support our global business, Luxottica operates multiple manufacturing and logistics facilities across North America to support our retail stores and wholesale customers.GENERAL FUNCTIONThe Maintenance Tech II is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all Facility and Production equipment, which include all automation related equipment such as Hytrol and Intelligrated conveyors, automated packing and labeling equipment, and Sortation Equipment.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform maintenance and required preventative maintenance on all Automated Production systems with emphasis on Allen Bradley PLC systems and Industrial Controls.Identify and facilitate equipment improvements to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.Troubleshoots and diagnoses motors, controls, distributions systems, Allen Bradley PLC systems.Troubleshoot and maintain Hytrol and Intelligrated Conveyor, automated packing and labeling equipment, and Sortation Equipment.Supports Building maintenance repairs (Plumbing, Electrical , HVAC ) as neededTrack maintenance work orders, inventory, purchase orders, facility inspections as requiredAssist the maintenance team in the training and team development.Must be reliable in attendance and punctuality, including breaks and lunch periods.Must be available for weekend and after hours call in.Support, follow, and monitor all safety requirements / expectationsMaintain adherence to company policies.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS2 yr. Technical or trade school education or equivalent experience3+ years industrial maintenance experience requiredMust be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and all maintenance procedures including mechanical, logic and fluid power diagrams.Allen Bradley PLC knowledgeMust have knowledge of procedures and standards including Lock-Out/ Tag-Out.MSDS, PPE, OSHA Standards.Ability to troubleshoot problems/issue using root cause analysis.Use of repetitive motion of hands and wrists as necessaryAbility to lift up to 75 poundsUpon request and consistent with applicable laws, Luxottica will provide reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities who need assistance in the application and hiring process.
