This is for a 150-unit, nine-story high-rise apartment community designed exclusively for low-income seniors, age 62 and above. The property is located in Olathe, KS.This position requires solid maintenance knowledge and skills. Experience in property management is helpful.Responsibilities:Daily inspection of grounds, parking lots, and common areasRepair minor problems of buildings and foundations to include the roof, ceilings, walls, floors, basements, and all mechanical contents of the buildingCommunicate any health and/or safety concerns/violations, unusual and/or any unusual or hazardous situations immediately to managementMonitor maintenance/repair related supplies and deliver and/or pick up supplies when neededApply general knowledge of carpentry, HVAC, heating, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, welding, painting, security and sprinkler systems, fire alarms, masonry work, and other related skills required to perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, and/or repairsQualifications:At least 3 years'' maintenance technician experienceKnowledge of basic maintenance (painting, carpentry, drywall, plumbing, electrical, etc.)Able to lift up to 50 puter literacy requiredHVAC certificate helpful but not requiredWho We Are:Our company, California Commercial Investment Group (CCI), is a fast-growing, energetic company focused primarily on the acquisition and long-term ownership and management of affordable housing for seniors and disabled individuals.With 25 years of experience, over 6500 units spread across 29 states, and approximately 350 employees nationwide, we''re committed to providing high-quality housing to our residents and stable, well-compensated career-oriented employment to all our team members.
