The Manager of Account Mgt, SB will have a team of 8 Strategic Account Executives and Field account managers. This Small Business market has customers employing from 2-99 employees.Primary Responsibilities: Manages the account management and account service function Manages to retention strategy and growth for existing business Responsible for account management effectiveness in Small Business Recruits, trains and coaches the account management staff for the Small Business local sales officeBusiness Savvy: Understands complex concepts and situations presented by the business environment Quickly assesses roadblocks to retention strategies and selects the appropriate solution Possesses very solid consultative skillsProduct Knowledge: Knows products sold in their market Clearly explains the difference between products Selects the correct product for the customer''s situation Makes recommendations for changes and can train others on skillsRelationship Building and Influence: Builds internal networks and consensus to shape decisions of middle-to-upper management Builds and maintains positive, constructive working relationships with senior levels as well as internal and external customersStrategic Vision: Understands company''s vision and mission linked to direct application of methods and plans to accomplish account management strategy Rationalizes directives to accomplish day-to-day activity in a way that minimizes disruption to our customers Implements strategy and leads team to accomplish objectivesYou''ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience 3+ years of sales support experience in the insurance industry; management experience Proven track record in results-oriented account management and sales/service environment Demonstrates expertise in account management and is knowledgeable of a full range of products Maintained Sales insurance license as required by state law Maintains a valid driver''s license - Travels as needed Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role.
