Clinical Aide (Full Time, Overnight Direct Care) Eden, NY (ApplyDescriptionThis position is responsible for clinical shift coverage and ensuring the safety of people with substance use disorders in a residential program. This direct care, human services position also entails some clinical responsibilities, where permitted through certification or license scope of practice, and other essential pensation & Benefits $15-16 / hour Additional $1 per hour shift differential if working overnight $250 sign-on bonus (contingent upon successfully completing the first 90 days of employment) Health, dental, and vision insurance with employer contributions $250 wellness gift card if enrolled through the agencys health insurance coverage $100 annual wellness incentive opportunity 2 weeks of PTO in your first year, and it increases to 5 weeks the longer you stay 2 weeks of sick time in your first year 401k with 50% match up to 3% of employee deferral after your first year Annual raises based on performance $30,000 no-cost life insurance policy And more!Responsibilities Provide direct care to people with substance use disorders in residential programs Conducts safety checks on the facility Responds to crises and emergencies Assists with referrals and coordination of services with fellow providers Conducts breathalyzer and toxicology screenings Responds to immediate social or housekeeping issues Assists with and observes resident medication compliance Makes referrals, coordinates services and maintains regular ongoing consultations with other providers, managed care providers, legal agencies, etc. to assist counseling staff. Maintains all clinical documentation, reporting, record keeping, treatment planning, screening, assessment, and discharge planning (as supported by certification or license scope of practice).RequirementsMinimum Qualificaitons:High school diploma or GEDAt least six hours of standardized introductory training in addiction and ethics for addiction professionalsAt least six months of experience in human servicesEnhanced Qualifications:Active participation in a college degree program in a Human Services related field with at least 3 months experience (may include internship experience)Must be a current CASAC Trainee or a QHP to provide clinical servicesAbility to ensure confidentialityMust possess a valid New York State driver''s licenseThank you for your interest in employment with Cazenovia Recovery Systems.
