The Crisis Response Support worker in the Crisis Mobile Response Support program operates out of Rockland County. The compassionate individual in this position will work within the scope of their profession by responding to an urgent issue at home or anywhere in the community at no cost to the member. Population served is 0-21 years in age. -Responds to situations where stress, depression, or any other mental health issue may create a personal crisis including but not limited to the following: suicidal thoughts, emotional trauma, serious mental illness, anxiety, family crisis. -Develop support plans and assist clients in carrying them out. -Directly support the work of the newly developed mobile crisis and telephonic intervention services. T -Reports directly to the Assistant Director of Rockland and Lower Hudson Valley Children''s Mental Health Programs. -Be a vital member within a disciplinary team -Work non-traditional hours to provide services with the intention to de-escalate crisis and overt ER and hospitalization admissions and work very closely with local Law Enforcement and Mental Health Partners within the county. Education and Experience -Bachelor''s degree in a Human Service-related field -A minimum of 2.5 years'' experience and 30 hours of crisis and mental health service training -Available to respond in person within a half-hour to 15 minutes shift while being on-call from home -Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel -A valid, non-restricted driver''s license
