Project Manager

Trillium Construction is now seeking a Project Manager of Irrigation for direct-hire placement in Chicago! Annual salary is $60-75k. Our client is a well established women-owned business providing commercial clients in the Chicagoland and surrounding areas Landscape Design, Construction, and Maintenance through a focused expertise and environmentally friendly approach. Job Duties: • Create accurate material, labor and equipment takeoffs from blueprints • Create bids/estimates and proposals using an estimating software program • Review full construction plan sets, specifications, and contracts for each job • Lead discussions with clients on budgets, timeline, materials, and installation • Coordination of scope reviews with clients and internal team • Gathering pricing from various vendors and subcontractors • Responsible for sales of estimated projects and follow up on bids and potential future sales • Maintain historical costs records for future reference • Support lead estimator with on-going initiatives and special projects • Keep multiple projects on track at the same time If interested, please apply today! Qualifications• Commercial construction estimating experience (3-5 years preferred) • Irrigation/Landscape industry experience (2 or more years preferred) • Fluent in building estimating software and techniques (Sage/Timberline, E-Take-Off & Microsoft Office) • General understanding of design and construction terms • Flexible schedule • Highly organized and must have attention to detail Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
