Operational Telephony Expert with Security Clearance

Position Overview We have an immediate opening for a Mobile Classified Network and COMSEC Technician or a Blue Force Tracking (BFT) and Specialized Network Systems Technician supporting our Government client in Reston, VA. Required Qualifications * Current TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph or ability to obtain a CI poly prior to start date.AvantusClearedJob * Have at least seven years of mobile classified network/COMSEC and/or BFT equipment repair, installation, and programming/specialized network experience and a four-year communications related degree or fifteen years of experience with technical certifications * Have expert level working knowledge of military BFT installation, maintenance, and utilization and/or have experience with commercially, military, and/or embassy-based communications. * Experience troubleshooting and administering BFT equipment and/or performing COMSEC inspections, inventories, rekeys, and installation. * Be able to travel within CONUS to military bases and training facilities. * Successful completion of Pre-employment Background Investigation required. * The status of applicable COVID-19 vaccination requirements under Executive Order 14042 are subject to change depending on applicable court orders and the course of ongoing litigation. Candidates may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or have an approved exemption Preferred Qualifications * Current TS/SCI clearance with current CI polygraph * Service in military intelligence (MI) units/agencies supporting MI communications capabilities and/or completion of an MI certification courses that included use of specialized communications systems. * It is highly desired that the contract employee(s) have experience working with DIA''s Defense Logistic Warehouse System (DLWS), or similar system. * Be able to support occasional travel OCONUS to military bases and to contingency areas with austere living conditions.
