LABOR CATEGORY : Financial Analyst AEYON POSITION TITLE : Navy FIP Financial Analyst LOCATION : Washington, DC, Hybrid JOB DESCRIPTION : Aeyon Consulting is currently seeking qualified candidates to support the Department of Navy''s (DON) Financial Management Transformation Initiatives including supporting audit response, audit remediation, internal controls, financial processes, and/or accounting following Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS), and/or relevant OMB policies for State or Federal Government agencies or large, complex companies (greater than 1,000) employees. All Must : Familiarity with DON processes and procedures preferred Participate in FIAR support by performing audit remediation Implementing internal controls, review and update financial and/or accounting processes following GAAP, SFFAS, and various OMB policies Experience with the Notice of Finding and Recommendation (NFR) process and the ability to design, recommend and implement Corrective Actions Plans (CAP) to respond to NFRs Experience in financial statement compilation and reporting processes, and audit response and remediation following GAAP and/or Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS) Experience with and understanding of applicable US General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for Federal Agencies and authoritative sources (e.g., FASAB, OMB Circulars, GAO Handbooks, Treasury Financial Manual, etc.) Experience / Capacity to Validate large financial datasets/transactions from Financial / Feeder Systems to General Ledger System CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS : Secret EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor''s Degree from an accredited U.S. college or university in a field Four (4) year degrees in accounting or business management. Mandatory: a 4-year degree that meets education requirements is required. Waivable/Substitutable: None CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : Mandatory: CPA, CISA, CIA, CGFM or CDFM Waivable/Substitutable: None Labor Category Duties: FA II : Apply Tech Expertise & Skills to implement Bus. Solutions. Directed to exercise core skills on Projects or may direct Small Teams. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: FA Level II: Three (3) years of progressive, relevant experience. FA III : Apply Advanced Tech. Expertise & Skills to implement Bus. Solutions. Provide direction to Project Teams and interact with FM&C and Govt. Clients at Branch and Division Head Level EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: FA Level III: Six (6) years of progressive, relevant experience. Minimum Certification: CISA or similar IT professional certification required. FA IV : Perform QA Reviews of Program performance and Deliverables. Resp. for onsite QC, Review, Approval of Working Papers & Findings and adhere to standards, laws, policy, and regulations. Lead Teams for complex workstreams/experts in Accounting and FM. Interact with FM&C and Govt. Clients at Division Head Level and above EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: FA Level IV: Nine (9) years of progressive, relevant experience, including six (6) years of experience leading financial management services projects. Minimum Certification: CISA or similar IT professional certification required. The implementation and enforcement of Executive Order 14043 is currently suspended under an injunction pending further litigation.
