Successful candidate will manage a talented electrical engineering team that is responsible for designing custom power delivery products that includes DC/DC, AC/DC, high power, low power, high voltage, and low voltage switch mode power supplies.The Engineering Solutions Group features a collaborative environment with creative, smart people and cutting-edge technologies. Come join us in crafting solutions the world does not know of yet!KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead an electrical engineering team in the development of custom power supplies from concept to volume production while ensuring that the design meets performance specifications, cost & reliability targets.Guide the team in the rigorous product development process that includes circuit simulations, DFMEA, component stress analysis, analog/digital design, and design verification test activities.Drive technical strategy, architecture and operational readiness. • Develop and maintain relationships with all necessary internal engineering organizations to ensure a well-integrated development process and technical outcome. • Lead the performance of the electrical engineering team to ensure the team is meeting business growth and customer needs, quality, and contributing positively to the profitability and margin requirements. • Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure adherence to project schedules, assignment of action items, and appropriate allocation of resources.Participate in cross functional and peer reviews to ensure designs meet all established requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure designs adhere to DFx guidelines. • Collaborate with international manufacturing locations during development and product infancy to maximize production yields. • Lead Research and Development activities of new technologies. • Lead root causes analysis activities on products, technical problems, and documentation. • Responsible for hiring, retaining, growing, and mentoring talent.> Key Qualifications and Skills • Bachelor''s Degree in Electrical Engineering with 10-15 years of design experience in the power supply or related industry, or Master''s degree with 8-12 years of experience • 3-5 years of engineering management experience is preferred • Must understand business strategies and have a high level of understanding for the business flow. • Ability to drive engineering deliverables in a hands-on fashion when needed. • Experience with electronic packaging, electronic power supplies and power conversion products • Knowledge of power conversion principles, topologies and soft switching techniques and technologies.
