Job key functions include develop real-time firmware algorithm, firmware integration, and failure analysis support for Enterprise HDD products.Essential Duty And Responsibilities Develop, merge and integrate servo firmware systems for innovated HDD products. Perform bench HDD servo functionality bring up, validation and performance characterization Provide servo failure and reliability analysis during HDD development and manufacturing phases. Resolve firmware issues effectively during drive development and manufacturing phases. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.RequiredQualificationsBachelors + 6-9 yrs experience, or Masters + 5yrs experience, in CS, EE, CE or similar disciplineSkillsGood programming and problem solving skillsExperience in firmware development of using C/C++ , python, TCL etc.Hand on experience using Matlab tool simulation and data collection experienceSoftware engineering experience in design, development, test, source-code management. Knowledge of Servo control system and motor driver is an asset. Good debug and Failure analysis skillsExperience working with complex systems involving Controllers, SoCs, I/Os, Firmware etc.Self-motivated to work both unsupervised and as part of an agile team.
