You will share in the team''s impact on all aspects of rocket engine fabrication.Robotic Weld Technician Weekend shift (Friday-Sunday 1st & 2nd shift)Must be able to work Weekend shift (Friday through Sunday 6am- 6:30pm) and weekend shift (Friday through Sunday 6pm- 6:30am)Responsibilities:Manufacture (GS1) First and (GS2) Second Stage Booster according to written proceduresInterpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions and test proceduresSetup and operate a wide range of precision calibrated tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, depth gauges and optical measuring instrumentsWork collaboratively with teams of diverse skills, fields, and backgroundsCommunicate clearly and appropriately, in writing and in personBasic digital literacy such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.Repetitively climb ladders/stairs and work in small, restricted areasPerform repetitive work, including lifting of items up to 50lbsOperate various material handling equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, truck-trailer combinations, and other ground support equipment as requiredAbility to support scheduled work for any shift, extended hours, and weekendsAbility to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusionPerform second party verifications and hardware inspections to engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written work instructionsUnderstand clean as you go techniques and need for general cleanlinessYou will provide manufacturing feedback to engineers and process improvement feedback to managementWe are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight.
