IT Site Designer, Senior with Security Clearance

Location: Warrenton, VA Clearance Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current and active TS/SCI clearance granted by the Department of Defense or an Intelligence Community agency. Must be able to pass a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated IT Site Designer to join our team in the Warrenton, VA area and to begin an exciting and rewarding career with Assured Consulting Solutions. As an IT Site Designer you will be responsible for producing in depth analysis design and surveys for customers within your area of emphasis. You will be expected to provide leadership as well as demonstrate hands-on skills and abilities on a regular basis. The IT Site Designer will integrate within the Project Management cell of divergent skillsets in performing discrete tasks and projects within the National Capital Region, as well as throughout the United States and overseas. The IT Site Designer also collaborates cross-functionally across the various branches within the PMO to ensure mission success. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Determine the ideal IT equipment to outfit new and existing work sites • Survey, evaluate, design, and engineer new and existing local site IT infrastructures for integration into a corporate WAN • Integration of a network including assisting in the planning, design, installation, maintenance, management, and coordination of the corporate LAN/WAN • Maintain configuration management of hardware and software at existing sites while adding new designs to configuration management database • Provide expert level input in the maintenance, updating, and utilization of an approved master product list • Develop site design packages using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Visio • Make recommendations for new technologies to meet current and emerging requirements • An individual working under this labor category will be expected to be able to perform typical day-to-day tasks autonomously, requiring assistance in only the most complex tasks Required Qualifications: • Must meet DoD IAT Level II qualifications upon hire (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC,Security+, or SSCP) • Possess a current Microsoft Windows 10 certification • Experience in local and wide area networking, communications, VoIP, video telepresence, and related software/hardware within a multi-platform operating environment is required • Current on most technological developments and applications, and helps to evaluate vendor products to make recommendations for purchase • Familiarity with Microsoft Visio, Excel, and SharePoint • Ability to accurately communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations • Ability to travel up to 50% primarily in the National Capital Region. Other travel destinations may also be required Desired Qualifications: • Proven experience in recommending solutions that improve customer satisfaction and/or the mission of the customer Education Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor''s degree in a related field. Four (4) years of related experience may be substituted for a degree. Years of Experience: • 9+ years w/ High School Diploma • 5+ years w/ Bachelor''s Degree Position Type: Full-Time Shift: Day COVID-19 VACCINATION REQUIREMENT.
