This position will be located in Lanham, Maryland.What You''ll DoThe On-Call Resource will be responsible for the following but not limited to:Conduct functional and/or integration testing of multiple programs in an IBM mainframe or client/server environment.Use IRS or Contractor-developed documentation to construct test cases with predetermined results and test data to verify program functionality and/or interfaces through assigned systems.Review output to determine whether or not the test results fulfill the established requirements, and if necessary, notify the responsible programmers, both verbally and in writing, of errors, omissions, and inconsistencies in the programs and/or documentation.Coordinate test activities with project stakeholders.Coordinate work assignments to ensure timely and accurate completion of testing.Provide inputs on the required testing level of effort for Unified Work Requests.Required QualificationsBachelor''s degree and 8 to 10 years of progressive IT experience; OR a Master''s degree and 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience: OR 12 years of relevant work experience in the IT field.5 years of software testing experience.2 years of experience leading technical teams.Before beginning work, candidate must obtain interim staff like access based upon an IRS Moderate Risk Background Investigation security clearance.
