Scope of the position: The Sample Coordinator performs a variety of sample management responsibilities including labeling, receipt, transferring, tracking, inventory, archival, shipping, and disposal of samples or other materials while ensuring services to both internal and external customers are provided in a timely manner. Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze and coordinate the Sample Process Translate sales requests to identify samples to fulfill to client needsResponsible for the entire life cycle of a sample material, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, reporting, and final disposal of resourcesSupervise the transportation of Sample Material and Supplies following established procedures to ensure on-time deliveryComplete routine packaging tasks Collect and collate information on the sample fulfillment, market dynamics and issues, areas of innovationDocumentation and communication of discrepancies to appropriate personnelAccurate and meticulous documentation of all required maintenance and sample chain of custodyPerform all activities in a sterile GMP environmentEnsures compliance and accurate documentation in accordance with working instructions, SOPs, and applicable regulations • Other duties as assigned Education and/or Experience:High School diploma or equivalent0-2 years administrative experience in a manufacturing environment0-2 years in a lab environment Competencies:Ability to read, understand, and execute detailed technical instructions to be able to organize, schedule, and perform laboratory activitiesAbility to operate computer, office equipment, telephone, email, and various word processor and spreadsheet softwareAbility to exchange information (present ideas, facts, and technical information) with others clearly and conciselyAbility to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situationsKnowledge of both standard and metric systems
