This position description is not an active opening but is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. More About the Role: * Research, develop and design systems for industrial control system purposes.* Perform all aspects of engineering and design, including modern control theory and multi-input/multi-output designs.* Analyze and test of ship and submarine handling qualities.* Design control laws.* Develop simulation math models. You''ll Bring These Qualifications: * MS or Ph.D in Control Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with participation in activities that demonstrate an interest in hydrodynamics, and/or vehicle control* 0-5 years experience* Coursework and / or work experience in control systems, vehicle stability and control, digital systems, simulation, and / or hands-on testing is desired* Advanced guidance, navigation, and control coursework beyond basic feedback control systems or stability and control is a plus* Comprehensive understanding of principles, theories, concepts, and industry practices and standards and their application.
