Quality Specialist - Remote

One of our global medical device manufacturing clients, who have their NA headquarters based in the Bloomington, MN area are looking for a Quality Specialist -Remote to join their team.This role will provide data retrieval and consolidation from relevant sources to drive insights and analysis into reasons for NA customer product quality complaints and returns. Drive improvements in product quality and related processes and reduction in cost of poor quality through direct involvement and hands on investigations of products.Key Responsibilities:Monitoring and reporting on NA product quality data and trends and identification of top issuesCreation and communication of knowledge articlesPerformance measurement and quality reportingPreparation of NA product quality reports and quarterly management review slidesRetrieval, analysis and reporting of data from all relevant data sourcesComplaint trending tool maintenance (Power BI)Drive reduction in regional complaints, service and credit returnsRepresent NA product quality in meetings with customers and notified bodies as neededWorking across functions including Global Product Quality, Sales North America, Operations North America, customer-facing teams, RDC and Global OperationsQualifications and Experience:Bachelor''s degree in engineering or technical discipline and/or equivalent experienceMinimum 2-5 years of experience within Quality, R&D or Operations functionsExperience in identifying and solving problems in software and electronics product systemsProven track record of improving processes using a systematic and structured approach, preferably Lean Six Sigma methodologyExperience working in ISO 13485 regulated industry preferredTravel requirements are anticipated at 10-20 day per year
