KBR has an opportunity for a former 05/06 Navy/USMC Aviator to serve as a Program Manager in support of the Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) in our San Diego, California location. * The mission of the NAE is to sustain required current readiness and advance future warfighting capabilities at the best possible cost. NAE is focused on aviation and aircraft carrier warfighting domains and their primary stakeholders, working across existing ''stovepipes,'' or functional commands, to ensure the ability to most efficiently meet the warfighting mission.* The primary goal of the enterprise construct is to work collaboratively within a partnership of operators, resource sponsors and other stakeholders to establish a culture of continuous process improvement, improve decision-making processes to optimize the warfighting readiness and effectiveness of all forces, and generate the greatest possible efficiencies.* The NAE serves as the single framework for facilitating collaboration, transparency, cross-functional engagement, information sharing and process improvements that are necessary to deliver essential capabilities and readiness; Every NAE stakeholder is committed to this mission.* Provides an effective and engaged enterprise approach in support of readiness requirements is essential to meeting the operational and functional goals of the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps. * As the Program Manager, you will lead a team of senior advisors and analysts and other experienced and technically competent former Navy/Marine Corps tactical aviators to develop program controls and management procedures, and manage projects spanning a variety of security levels for the NAE.* Responsible for direction, and coordination of the activities of designated programs to ensure that goals and objectives of the program are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget parameters by performing the duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.* These duties include supervision, direction, reviews and coordination of all work performed.* Ensures maximum NAE effectiveness by providing senior Naval Aviation clients with NAE expertise in a timely, cost efficient manner.* Responsible for specified resource allocations and schedule commitments. team tasking, managing direct reports, coordinating support across every NAE location, managing program risk and issue reporting, maintaining excellent customer interfacing and communication, completion of key milestones, deliverables, work products and timely required internal/external reports. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor''s degree from an accredited college or university is required; a Master''s degree is desired.* Must have prior service as a commissioned officer at the level of 05/06 or as a GS 14/15 is a requirement for this position.* A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in program management is required. Five years in senior level positions responsible for program management on a multi-functional team and administration of a major program is required.* Four years performing technical analysis and planning, budgeting, scheduling and execution of DOD programs is required. * An active secret level or higher security clearance is required.
