For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case~by~case basis.Purpose:To perform a wide variety of invasive and non~invasive ultrasound and vascular procedures by utilizing a wide variety of sophisticated sonographic equipment to aid in the clinical diagnosis of disease to record and document images, history, and other pertinent clinical information for analysis and interpretation by physician. To act as a team member and follow the mission, values and philosophy of Advocate.Accountabilities:Performance of a comprehensive array of sophisticated abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts procedures demonstrating the appropriate anatomy under investigation for all STAT and routine procedures.Participation in the department QA program and accreditation processEnsures a secure and safe patient and work environment.Provides technical support for smooth and efficient operation of Ultrasound and Vascular Department.Responsible for staying abreast of the latest ultrasound developments, professional development of self, maintenance of CME''s required for registration and training of associates to procedures.Documentation of patient history, and images for analysis and interpretation.
