In all of this ''cyber noise'', how can these organizations understand their risks and how to mitigate them? The answer is you - build your knowledge as an information security risk specialist who knows how to break down complex threats into manageable plans of action. As an information security risk specialist on our team, you''ll work with the United States Air Force to discover their cyber risks, understand applicable policies, and develop a mitigation plan. You''ll get technical, environmental, and personnel details from SMEs, engineers, and stakeholders to assess the entire threat landscape. Then, you''ll help your team guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones. You''ll work on translating security concepts for your client so they can make the best decisions to secure their mission critical systems. You Have: * 1+ years of experience in complex IT systems, including operating systems and networks * Experience with DoD cybersecurity, NIST guidelines, or the Risk Management Framework * Experience in using vulnerability or software assessment tools * Experience in executing A&A processes or non-federal processes * Ability to learn new concepts and technologies quickly * Secret clearance * Bachelor''s degree and 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity in lieu of a degree * DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification Nice If You Have: * Experience with DoD cybersecurity policies, directives, and STIGs * Knowledge of DevSecOps principles * Knowledge of cloud security fundamentals or cyber threats for cloud * Knowledge of NIST SP-800 series publications * Knowledge of system authorization submissions with eMASS and XACTA or non-federal systems * Top Secret clearance * Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or Engineering Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
