Overview LMI is seeking for a Senior Management Analyst to support a federal program management office (PMO) charged with planning, acquiring, and managing the deployment and operation of technology and capabilities to keep our borders safe. Responsibilities As a Senior Management Analyst, you will directly support the Engineering Branch Team, in achieving specific enterprise-initiatives objectives. The ideal candidate will possess superior analytical and problem-solving skills, operate independently with limited supervision and feedback, be a strong team player, and have the ability to establish solid working relationships with technical staff members and peers within the division as well as key government customers. Experienced in Digital Transformation implementation, DHS MD 102 or 107 and acquisition support is a plus. The ideal candidate will work to build out the Digital Transformation footprint and will work with various teams to initiate, plan, and execute the best solutions for the client. This position has potential for future growth and additional responsibility based on candidate performance. Some of the responsibilities may include: * Provide project/program management support to various Engineering Branch-led efforts in close collaboration with the Directorate''s Chief Systems Engineer * Collaborate closely with technical teams (PMs, Product Owners, etc.) to design various artifacts, and to further the Digital Transformation vision by creating product roadmaps, program backlogs, cost/benefit analyses, and/or establishing acceptance criteria * Support agile development of user stories, and support the transition of these stories through the design, development, and testing teams * Lead meetings, track actions and tasks, and follow up with technical/program staff as needed * Provide staff planning and track availability/work assignments to approximately 60+ engineers and technical professionals matrixed to many programs and projects * Manage project schedules, product backlogs, and recurring reports to ensure contractors and government stakeholders are all marching towards the same goals * Work with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Working Groups to develop and maintain project plans and other pertinent documentation * Coordinate data calls and set priorities, and compile information received into high-level documents * Writing, compiling, editing, proofreading, and adjudicating documents with multiple authors Qualifications * 5+ years of experience and a master''s degree in business, management, engineering, finance, or information management; or 7+ years and a bachelor''s degree * Experience developing project and program requirements to support multi-functional technical engineering teams for large, complex programs * Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required * Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders * Ability to effectively solve problems * Strong communication skills, both oral and written * A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint * Experience with document management, version control, and adjudication documents with multiple authors and reviewers * Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a comprehensive government security investigation must meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information. The background investigation includes financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, and employment verifications. US citizenship required * Highly Preferred: Active/Full U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) BI * This position is contingent upon completion of CBP BI, customer approval, and funding
