Automation Engineer with Security Clearance

Description Automation Engineer Washington, DC The Candidate shall have in-depth knowledge of commercial marine automation designs including Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based logic control systems for marine propulsion, power management, auxiliary control, and integrated bridge systems. The Candidate shall perform review of failure mode effects analysis and dynamic response analysis submissions. Requirements: * 10- 15 years DoD/DoN program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management * Understanding of: DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); Foreign Military Sales; Military Sealift Command procedures and processes; Supervisory experience; experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel; ship building experience. * Chief engineers license; Navy procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel; supervisory * US Citizen with Secret Security Clearance * Required: Bachelor''s of Science in Engineering * Preferred: Master''s degree in Engineering discipline * Preferred: Professional Engineer License ORBIS offers an excellent benefits package and competitive salary in a professional atmosphere.
