This person will work with brand teams to understand their business situation and objectives, using their subject matter expertise to identify the media solutions that would produce the most positive business results and articulate how different approaches to media could result in different outcomes.The position requires a superior understanding of the modern media landscape, and this person must be able to steward data-driven and culturally impactful campaigns that are large enough to drive business outcomes. They will use their experience across marketing platforms, data, and an understanding of marketing best practices to challenging our media agency to design and execute best in class media strategies that incorporate emerging platforms/capabilities and align with changing consumer behaviors. This person must have the functional experience to lead the media agency and when necessary be a ''hands on'' problem solver.As a highly matrixed organization, it is critical to this person''s success that they partner with other functional experts on the Integrated Marketing Team to deliver informed and insightful recommendations. This person should also foster strong relationships with members of other departments within the organization, as the position requires interaction and influence with Director and VP levels across the Finance, Shopper, and Trade teams within the Snacks division. This person may also need to work with counterparts from the Meals & Beverage division in support of enterprise-wide media projects. The ability to lead projects, influence stakeholders, and attention to detail are ''must haves'' for this position.As Campbell Snacks has adopted a hybrid working model, this person should expect to work from a Campbell''s office at three times a week. Offices are based in Norwalk, CT; Camden, NJ; and Charlotte, NC. This person would report to the Director, Media & Analytics (based out of the Norwalk office) and be the day-to-day point of contact between the brand team and the media agency for their brands/projects.Primary Responsibilities* Strategy, combine their media expertise, data comprehension and business acumen to identify thoughtful and novel media- and/or tech-led solutions to business objectives* Design, apply your understanding of consumer behavior and our brands'' communications objectives to help the agency develop paid media campaigns and consumer journeys that deliver on the media KPIs that support the brand''s larger marketing objective* Analytics & Insights, uncover campaign and audience insights that will help Campbell''s Snacks continuously improve campaign performance and our overall media approach. Assist the Director, Media & Analytics in managing test & learn initiatives that involve this person''s brands* Innovation and thought leadership, through personal networks, attention media industry and culture, establish a pipeline of new concepts and ideas that live at the intersection of consumer behavior, media, and technology* Financial & Budget Management, develop and manage project forecasts, budgets and plans. Partner with Marketing and Divisional Finance teams to ensure effective budget management and timely billing processes for media.Key Skills* Deep understanding of how different media channels scale, and how different buying methods or application of data layers will impact a channel''s performance* Ability to synthesize data from disparate sources to identify actionable insights that can inform and transform our media approach* Experience with leading & managing large, matrixed teams* Strong communication and project management skills, attention to detail* Fluent working within the Microsoft Suite, specifically PowerPoint and ExcelMinimum Requirements* Bachelor''s Degree in marketing or Related Field preferred* 6+ years Media experience, have worked on campaigns designed to drive upper and mid-funnel metrics (e.g. awareness, demand, consideration) for a national brand preferred* Media Strategy/Planning background preferred, but not required* Experience planning both traditional and digital channels an asset* Experience with lower-funnel performance campaigns an asset* Experience working with and understanding the limitations different audience segmentation approaches (demographics, psychographics, purchases behavior, interest targeting, etc.)* Managed media budget(s) across multiple brands/sub-brands, client or agency side* Proven ability to collaborate across teams, divisions, and organization to achieve objectives* Willingness and ability to travel for key business and industry meetingsACRThe Company is committed to providing equal opportunity for employees and applicants in all aspects of the employment relationship, without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship, marital status, veteran status, disability, age, religion or any other classification protected by that regard, U.S. applicants and employees are protected from discrimination based on certain categories protected by Federal law.
