Job DescriptionMechanicJob Description: Our client is looking for an experienced mechanic to join the Bikes & Scooters team in San Diego. You will be responsible for managing all maintenance efforts, including assuring the reliability and availability of bikes & scooters, managing other mechanics, and contributing to the overall operational excellence of our offering locations. If you share our vision for transportation that empowers local communities, reduces our environmental footprint, and brings people together, we''d love to meet you!Job Responsibilities: Help inform the playbook for bike & scooter field activities, inspection, maintenance, and repairs. Document and suggest ways to improve data collection on bike & scooter maintenance and service issues. Ability to communicate effectively both written and oral with the operations team. Ability to be flexible to work nights and weekends as needed. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; cycle occasionally in urban areas; stoop, bend, and stand for long periods of time, with or without accommodation Ability to drive a golf cart or scooter or bikeBasic Experience & Skills: High School Diploma or GED At least 1+ years of work experience as a bicycle/scooter mechanic.Job Requirements: Location may be open but verbiage in the job description is particular to one city.About the Company: Our client operates a peer-to-peer marketplace for on-demand ridesharing in the United States and Canada.
