ROLE SUMMARY: Alongside our production teams, our Maintenance Mechanical Technicians work in a team or autonomously to continuously improve our equipment reliability in a high-speed manufacturing environment. They work to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment, working with gearboxes, bearings, bushings, and more. Our Maintenance Technicians and Weekenders help drive plant goals & objectives through individually led projects and continuous improvement activities. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform mechanical work (e.g., conveyor bearing and chain replacement, major equipment overhaul, motor/gearbox replacements, valve and pump maintenance, and lube routes)Interpret schematics and equipment manualsAdhere to plant safety and sanitation requirementsComplete assigned work efficiently and per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP''s)Use SAP to detail corrective and preventive maintenance performed throughout the shift; including searching and issuing parts, documenting equipment issues and entering inspection/measurement pointsMust be available to work all shifts on any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, for 5-7 days per week. Shifts are as follows: Midnights - 11PM to 7AM Days - 7AM to 3PM (for training only) Afternoons - 3PM to 11PM Some shifts may be up to 12 hours per day This position is not eligible for any benefits unless meeting"¯the terms of the 401(K) plan."¯40 hours of work per week are not guaranteed"¯every week."¯However, there may be opportunity to"¯be scheduled up to 7 days per week, depending on business needs.
