Are you up for the Challenge?ROLE SUMMARY: As an apprentice as the Van Nuys, you will spend the first 24 months of your Anheuser-Busch career focusing on your training and development as an operator. This apprentice program is focused on our Brewing Department; however, during your time you will gain exposure to the entire production process at the Van Nuys brewery. After 24 months, apprentices will transition to a Brewing Operator position.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for working safely and maintaining high quality standards for our productsEnsure that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP''s) and sanitation practices are followed at all times.Able to perform industrial cleaning, sanitation, and quality checks.Works and communicates effectively in a team environmentWork well with teams to preform job duties.Job duties could include:Data analysis and troubleshooting to determine root causesBasic maintenance in converting equipmentRunning of high-speed equipmentRunning brewing process control systemsDriving fork trucksLoading supplies into machineryRecording process dataJOB QUALIFICATIONS:Must be at least 18 years oldMust have a high school diploma or GEDPreferred 2 year degree or manufacturing experienceMust be willing to work on all shifts, and work during some weekends/puter experience preferred.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures and climates. Must be able to view and interact with computer monitors.Physical requirements of the position include continuous standing, bending, lifting and pushing.Basic mathematic and scientific knowledge, technical skills, decision-making skills and presentation skills required.Highly motivated, self-directed person that is able to work in a fast paced environmentA clear understanding and demonstrated knowledge of safety policies and proceduresWHY ANHEUSER-BUSCH:Anheuser-Busch has always dreamed big.
