Let''s see if we are right for one another.Summary/ObjectiveThe Field Engineer assists, under direct supervision, the Superintendent with site logistics, access, and staging of materials.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Assists the Site Superintendent with site logistics, access, coordination, and staging of materials for municate clearly with subcontractors and field workers to ensure they understand site logistics and access municate clearly with Site Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager as to site access issues.Represents Company- Exemplify Aurora''s Core Values, personifying Customer Focus, Integrity, Family Values, Quality work, and Enthusiasm and foster that behavior in project petenciesProblem Solving/ Analysis.Project Management.Ethical anizational munication Proficiency.Collaboration Skills. Firm but fair leadershipExemplification of Aurora Core ValuesSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position assists the Site Superintendent in managing site logistics, access, coordination, and staging of materials and will direct subcontractors and deliveries people accordingly.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to work at the project site and will be exposed to ongoing construction and various weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud. This position is performed in outside weather conditions and employee is exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.The person in this position frequently communicates to others. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to maneuver to, and stand or sit in place. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. May require movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must also occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 40 hours per week and may require longer hours and frequent weekend work.TravelTravel to and from assigned jobsite is required and overnight travel may be expected.Required Education And ExperienceHigh school degreeOSHA Certification - 30 hoursPreferred Education And ExperienceBachelor''s degree in related field2 years job experience and/or combination of education and job experience.Additional Eligibility QualificationsStrong communication skills; thorough and attentive to details; able to prioritize and multitask; proactive and deadline oriented. Ability to read and understand blueprint, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to interact effectively with customers, subcontractors and employees at all levels of the organization.
