Software Airworthiness Engineer

A Huntsville-based government contractor has an immediate need for a Software Airworthiness Engineer to join their renowned team of engineering professionals.The Software Airworthiness Engineer conducts software safety, airworthiness, and mission assurance evaluations for DoD aviation systems and supports the software system requirements identification and development process by evaluating and assessing planning, design, development, production, and operations for DoD aviation software systems architectures. You''ll perform software airworthiness analysis throughout the software life cycle from initial requirements through design, implementation, testing, delivery, and support.The successful candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills to maintain successful daily interactions with the customer and teammates. They have the ability to operate proactively and handle significant responsibility. Attention to detail is a must. This is a full-time position with a salary based on experience.
