Administer the Lineage Safety Program to ensure a safe, controlled, and risk-free environment while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. Promote a safety culture with the goal of achieving an incident-free work environment.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWork with leadership on processes and procedures to prepare for internal and external auditsPartner with Operations to help resolve facility and customer issuesConduct accident investigations and take steps to ensure safety policies are understood and followed by all partiesLead meetings to inform team members of new or changing safety policies and procedures, and address safety and/or quality issuesMonitor warehouse safety supplies and notify operations of replacement needsMaintain accurate and up-to-date recordkeeping systems including logs, binders, and other records Verify inbound receipts for accuracy. Input new order requests and manage modifications and cancellations for both manual and electronic orders.Manage, monitor, and maintain records on required documents; and resolve all issues to obtain customs clearanceGenerate customer reports per customer request (i.e., weekly, monthly late/bill reports) .MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)3 years'' Import or Logistics experience; or a combination of education and experienceBasic math skills may be required at some facilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers; English may be requiredProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear, which may be required at some facilitiesMay be required to lift a minimum of 20 lbs./9 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facilityAbility"¯to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed"¯Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud"¯Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customersExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent organizational skills and the ability to function in a fast-paced, highly visible, and changing environmentDemonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task various and conflicting responsibilitiesLLPRWhy Lineage?This is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage!
