Electrical Engineer

Seine Client is immediately seeking an Electrical Engineer who will have ownership in all phases of electrical design, coordination with other internal engineering groups (I&C, Process, Nuclear, Structural, etc.), procurement of equipment, commissioning, and start-up. Based on experience level of the candidate, this role could be hired as a senior level role.Duties and Responsibilities: Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Defining design criteria. Write specifications. Produce engineering calculations. Create details. Lay out equipment. Select product. Work with Procurement organization to procure equipment. Monitor and provide guidance to contract engineers. Coordinate with other internal engineering groups and Construction. Provide support to Construction by processing requests for information, field change requests, and reviewing document submittals. Work with electrical inspectors (Authorities Having Jurisdiction), startup, commissioning and mentoring. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor''s degree in electrical engineering Working knowledge of the National Electric Code, Life Safety Code, Building Codes, IEEE standards, and IEC standards Experience in electrical design meeting NRC regulatory requirements Professional engineering license with the ability to obtain a Wisconsin professional engineering license is desired
