At Mobile Video Guard the Installation and Assembly technician is a key part of the team. You will be responsible for everything from assembling our Mobile Video Guard camera units in the warehouse to installing and servicing them in the field.Typical Duties Build, install and service Mobile Video Guard camera units (don''t worry we''ll train you on this) Keep warehouse and service truck inventory updated Perform scheduled, routine preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment/systems under contract agreement by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating systems and checking out equipment to ensure it''s in satisfactory working order. Present a professional image both in personal and vehicle appearance, in accordance with company policies. Perform work assignments in a safe manner. Keep updated on all changes/modifications to Mobile Video Guard equipment. Attend and complete training programs as requested. Keep the warehouse and service truck(s) clean and orderly. RequirementsSome of the things you must be able to do: Climb ladders that extend up to 24 ft. in height Learn to operate a bucket truck Must possess the ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 65 pounds Must have a working knowledge of computers and mobile phone apps Travel may be required primarily inside the U.S. The ability to obtain and maintain appropriate industry safety certifications is required. Valid driver''s license required DOT Physical required Background check required BenefitsHealthcare: Mobile Video Guard pays 80% of the employee''s coverage and 50% of any spouse, child, or family plan. Currently an individual employee pays about $77 a month toward health insurance via a pretax payroll deduction. The company pays 100% of the vision and dental plan. This is available after the first 60 days of your probationary period.401K (retirement account): We have a 401K retirement savings plan in place. If you join the plan by having a bi-weekly contribution deducted from your paycheck, Mobile Video Guard will match your contribution up to 4% of your total annual pay. You will be eligible to join the plan after 1 year of employment with Mobile Video Guard.Paid Time Off: Paid Days Off are accrued when employment begins with Mobile Video Guard. In years 1-3 hourly employees earn 40 hours of leave per calendar year, plus 6 calendar holidays. Thereafter you can accrue up to 80 hours of PTO. However, assuming you are performing at a high level and have successfully planned help and coverage for your time off, any reasonable time off requests (paid or unpaid, depending on the scenario) will be considered and probably granted, as long as it''s not excessive.Vacation Reimbursement Program: At Mobile Video Guard, we want our associates to enjoy their vacations and use the time to travel and experience new things. The program pays for up to $1,250/year for Domestic Travel, and $1,875/year for international travel. You turn in your receipts, some pictures of your trip, and a short summary of what made the trip special and we issue a reimbursement check.
