No sponsorship is being offered at this time.Vax Requirements: None ABOUT THE POSITIONThe Security Engineer will join a Systems team responsible for day-to-day operational support for a hybrid, on-prem/hosted Windows environment. Our client routinely sets up satellite field offices leveraging SD-WAN and public VPN behind a secure firewall. The Security Engineer will be responsible for ensuring secure, stable network connectivity across all Data Centers and field offices, as well as provide recommendations and ensure best practices are met for application and web security. The Security Engineer should be comfortable building, deploying and supporting Windows Server environments including Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), ADFS, and Authentication protocols. You also should have a solid understanding, based off your hands-on experience, troubleshooting Active Directory, as well as practical knowledge of Domain Controllers, their relationships with AD, how they work, replication of sites and services. This role will also be focused on networking, firewall management, intrusion detection, and SIEM.
