Sales Associate

Sales Associate Starting pay: $17 + commission with $0.50 increase every quarter if sales goals are met. Rate of pay is open to discussion if sales experience/ product knowledge is extensive or if sales performance exceeds expectation. Who is La Mina De Oro? We hope to have you as part of our team! Job Summary: La Mina De Oro is looking for an energetic and self-motivated sales associate looking to grow with and within our company. Essential Job Functions: Perform Customer Service duties for example: answer inquiries, tend to customer needs, resolve issues, initiate merchandise returns/exchanges Work with store manager and assistant manager to meet goals Opening/ Closing store Display merchandise with direction from store manager or assistant manager Change price tags when necessary Stock shelves and display cases Telemarketing sales Maintained knowledge of sales, promotions, product information, etc. Handle cash transactions Create client relationships Meet sales quotas Event preparation and participation Physical Actions: Required job duties are semi-active and consist of walking, bending down, crouching down, standing and lifting and/ or carrying boxes up to 50 lbs. maximum, seeing, and hearing. Physical Environment: Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled store environment. During hot seasons such as late spring and summer, air conditioning functionality sometimes fluctuates.
