With a mixture of events, concessions, and premium hospitality throughout the region, the Executive Sous Chef will support all locations and attend events to support the Senior Executive Chef. We are seeking an eager and experienced Sous Chef to provide strong support at multiple venues with the ability of consistently producing menu items according to recipes and BEOs in high volume. The Sous Chef will work closely with the Senior Executive Chef and kitchen team to execute all events.Responsibilities:Responsible for assisting in all culinary aspects with the Gas South Region. If it involves food, it involves you!Suites, clubs, on-site catering, events, and more.Execution of events and food service while maintaining the highest level of food quality and presentationCapable of producing a consistent product in high volumeEnsure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen/food service areasAssist in the development and implementation of creative menu items that adhere to the Proof of the Pudding standardCreating and maintaining the overall moral of the kitchen and culinary teamSchedules Staff and food production in accordance with the demands of business, the direction of Senior Executive Chef and Company policiesAssists Senior Executive Chef with logistical planning and execution of events as directedThis position will require some travel mainly within the Gas South Region with the possibility of supporting other POP locations in accordance to business demands *Responsibilities are not limited to this listQualificationsRequired Qualifications:2+ years in a leadership/supervisory culinary roleMust have impeccable integrity for the business, the community and the Proof of the Pudding Team.Possess the necessary qualities of self- motivation, desire to learn, and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, demanding, collaborative environmentPossess the necessary interpersonal skills and demeanor for maintaining a safe, equitable and inclusive work environmentSpecialized Qualifications:Excellent listening and communication skillsAbility to run a business as if you own itExhibit cooking skills, knowledge, and food handling skills consistent with contemporary training and have the desire to learn moreAbility to perform physical tasks; such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 30 lbs.
