Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? Seeking Supply Chain Management / Materials Management & Logistics Associates! The Supply Chain Management team within Pratt & Whitney encompasses two organizations: Materials Management & Logistics and Global Supply Chain. Specifically, the M aterials Management & Logistics organization includes functions such as Demand and Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Production Control, and Logistics . The professionals within the organization plan for raw material requirements in support of production processes, planning new engine assembly, and forecasting spare part requirements. Additionally, they are engaged in various processes facilitating the delivery of engines, the continuous improvement of processes , and activities involved in the Sales & Operations Process . They work both in the office cross-functionally and globally, as well as hands on engaged on the shop floor, supporting operations. To facilitate the growth of this challenging field, we have crafted opportunities for a technical development program within the Materials Management & Logistics organization at Pratt & Whitney. This unique program led by experienced supply chain professionals will ensure that our development program associates are learning, mentored, and intertwined with the organizations they support. Pratt & Whitneys Materials Management Development P rogram provides you with a flexible learning environment to help kick-start your career and provides us the resources to meet our workforce requirements for the future. Program HighlightsTwo year, f our six-month rotations, within the Materials Management & Logistics disciplineYear 1: Foundational Year including roles within detailed MRP Planning and Materials Execution (Production Control)Year 2: Strategic Year including roles within Demand Management (Forecasting, Inventory Management, Sales & Operations Planning) and an Elective Rotation based on associates desired learningCross functional learning a cross Materials Management & Logistics Discipline, including MM&L trainings and certificationsNetworking between all Operations Development Programs (Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Global Supply Chain)Assignment of a formal mentor, peer mentor, and an on-the-job coach/mentorEvaluation periods during the program with both functional manager and program managerOngoing one on ones with program manager to ensure successful assignment and experienceEnd of rotation report-outs to leadership team within Materials Management & LogisticsFinal role placement within Materials Management & Logistics discipline based on business need s along with associates interests .This development program is a hybrid opportunity (remote/hybrid/full-time roles within the program) Basic Qualifications:Bachelors degree graduating b y May 2023 in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.Have a GPA of 3.0 or higherMust be a U.S. Citizen due to government contract requirements Preferred Qualifications:Exceptional interpersonal skills and consistent record of collaboration, flexibility, innovation, ambition and initiativePassion for learning and pursuing a career in Supply Chain Management and/or Operations ManagementAbility to work with all levels of management, shop personnel and outside vendorsAbility to work independently or with cross functional teamsStrong project management skillsAnalytical, organizational, and communication skills What is my role type?In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work.
