Job DescriptionOur Radiation Oncology Clinic at our Liberty location is looking to hire a nurse to the team. This position is for a Full Time RN in an ambulatory setting and offers a Monday through Friday 7:30-4:00 schedule with no holidays, no weekends, and no call. We are looking for experienced nurses with excellent multi-tasking skills, desire for variety in their day and interest in providing care to radiation oncology patients. The Radiation Oncology RN is responsible and accountable for the direct and indirect nursing care of patients within the department as assigned by caseload or under the care of the department. The Radiation Oncology RN is responsible for implementing Radiation Oncology orders for follow up and status check appointments, patient education, physical assessment, nutrition counseling, distress assessment and assisting providers with exams and procedures. The ability to retrieve, communicate or otherwise present information in a written, auditory, or visual fashion is essential. Responsibilities:Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process.Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.Delegates tasks appropriately.
