Position Description Northside Atlanta, Forsyth, and Cherokee are hiring Clinical Dieticians for our Clinical Nutrition department! Join us for an interview day on Thursday, September 15th. You will be able to schedule your interview time in advance, and have the opportunity to meet 1:1 with our leadership team. We are seeking experienced and new grad candidates!Please apply and if selected for interviewing, you will receive an update to RSVP for a time slot to interview. Interviews will be held at the Atlanta campus from 10am-6pm, please confirm your interview time before arrival. Virtual time slots are available as well. The Clinical Dietitian will be responsible for preparing and implementing nutritional care plans for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in accordance with departmental policy and standards of care. Prioritizes patients at high risk using the dietitian census report, glucose report, albumin report and NST report. Initiate supplements, snacks, calorie counts and consistency changes as part of the patient''s continuity of care. Acts as a liaison between the Nutritional Services Department and the Medical Staff, Nursing Staff and other Ancillary Departments. Responsibilities involve providing nutritional counseling to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, families, and others as requested and providing community education when needed. May provide lectures and cooking demonstrations for community outreach programs. Must be flexible in schedule to work weekends and on call. All Licensure and Registration are all required in this role.Position RequirementsB.S. degree in Foods and Nutrition, plus Dietetic Internship or equivalent training. Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association. Current licensure as a Dietitian in the State of Georgia.
