Project Manager - IC&A

A primary component of the Smart Innovative Operations ("SIO") program is a step change in process control and automation at Large Industries production facilities. Once achieved, this will deliver operational efficiency benefits and increased integration with the OCC and Real Time Controllers. The Project Manager - SIO role is responsible for developing, managing and overseeing site specific projects to support this objective as part of the overall Large Industries US SIO program.Develops project scope and identifies resource requirements based upon the SIO Self Assessment and input from Operations, CTE, Maintenance, and all other Project Stakeholders. Obtain quotations for equipment and/or EPC services as pletes basic engineering design functions as required, such as P&ID mark-ups, control narratives, specification review, technical bid analysis, anizes and facilitates all Design Reviews on projects in compliance with Design Validation procedure.Specifies equipment and services, selects vendors, issues Purchase Requisitions/field contracts and expedites delivery.Develops and maintains project schedule to ensure on timely delivery.Develops and effectively manages project budget.Oversees project execution so that the end result meets the original requirements, on schedule and within budget. Coordinates project controls in conjunction with overall SIO Project Management Office.Manages multiple projects simultaneously.Supports Operations/Zone teams to complete SIO Self Assessment and assists in reviewing the results to develop site specific pletes Project Capitalization tasks and Lessons Learned. Closes projects promptly.Supports SIO Project Management Office in overall project reporting.Supports other SIO Sub-Projects to support the overall SIO Program as needed.Personally complies with Air Liquide safety standards at all times.Required Qualifications:BS in Engineering discipline required (Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical preferred)Minimum 7 years of industrial project engineering/ project management experience requiredOperational experience or process control (ASU/SMR) project experience preferredGeneral knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control systems and operation of process equipment utilized in Air Liquide technologies.Ability to work with all levels of staff, including managementAbility to work autonomously with limited supervision requiredProficient with Google suite of tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, etc)Solution oriented, with strong analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organization skills and attention to detailAbility to organize and prioritize workload to work on multiple projects simultaneouslySome travel required (approximately 25-35% of time)Able to work around process equipment, including traversing ladders and stairsCandidate must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
