Amazon MSK Engineer

GoAhead Solutions has a great opportunity for an Amazon MSK Engineer in San Mateo, CA. This would be a Nine month contract to start out. This position will require to be on site (hybrid Model).Job Description:-The ideal candidate has experience designing large-scale systems supporting millions of transactions in a month, solving complex kafka issues.-Possesses design and problem-solving skills. Ideally he/she should have an in-depth understanding of streaming data technologies like Amazon MSK, Apache Kafka & Confluent Kafka.-Well versed in writing sample Java applications to validate Kafka environments (both publishing/subscribing)-Should possess deep understanding on Kafka internals - Partitions/Leaders/Replicators.-Have in-depth knowledge on running Kafka troubleshooting commands.-Must have strong understanding on AWS VPC, S3 , Cloud Watch,EC2,Certificate Manager.-Need basic understanding on Networking,DNS,F5 Load balancers, SSL Certificate usage.-Ability to write and understand terraform scripts from stratch.-Having Cross network troubleshooting skills is a plus.-Should possess strong writing/communication skills.-Ability to configure & Set up Kafka environments on AWS MSK is a plus.-Having knowledge on Mirror Maker - provided by Dice
