Equine Veterinarian

Retama Equine Hospital is growing and seeking a service-oriented, energetic Ambulatory practitioner to join our team! We are a busy, multi-doctor, emergency and referral hospital near San Antonio, Texas with a diverse caseload serving many different equine disciplines and providing sports medicine, orthopedics, soft tissue, dentistry, reproduction, chiropractic, acupuncture, racetrack and of course, emergency services. We are looking for a partner who enjoys team collaboration, has interest in all aspects of equine medicine, and has a track record of exceptional client relations. Experience in sports medicine and soft tissue surgery is preferred, internship training is a plus! Leadership interest/experience is welcomed. Our well-equipped hospital includes three treatment areas, three ICU stalls, 20 hospital stalls, four isolation stalls and 16 paddocks. We offer state of the art imaging equipment, shockwave and Sound Smart RLT regenerative laser. Retama is the premier Equine primary care and referral hospital in the heart of South Texas. In business since 1995, we are currently the only multi-doctor equine practice in our area.
