Senior Project Manager

Job DescriptionThe Role: Project Manager Global Transportation The role will lead the transition of Global Transportation from a shared service to a 4PL management situation Coordinate with corporate team to identify all lanes and contracts that need to be transitioned Responsibilities for Role: Lead for Global Transportation in our separation project and participate on project calls Capture all systems used to support Global Transportation Identify process for managing vendors and how they are measured Identify all lanes and spend for each site (MFG and DCs) Review current carrier contracts pertaining to the Sensormatic lanes and identify if any gaps o Identify current FAKs and other optimized strategies that need to be documented Identify cost per order by marrying the spend data with the system shipment data need to have more granularity with existing data Identify any current gaps in process for transportation with regards to Incoterms Understand incoterm agreements and ensure correct processes were/are captured at each site Identify process updating carriers for sites when selected Identify process to allow customer carriers vs Sensormatic carriers Identify process for charging customers freight when using Sensormatic carriers Identify process for routing guide and maintenance Help with RFQ process to ensure requirements captured and proper vendors participate in RFQ Manage transition to the 4PL to ensure execution Experience and Qualifications for the role: Global Transportation experience required Project management experience required Routing guide experience required Excellent written and oral communication skills
