As a Capital Markets Sr. Associate within PNC''s Debt Capital Markets organization, you will be based in Dallas or Houston.PNC Loan Syndications is a top five originator of senior debt transactions, part of a broader PNC Debt Capital Markets organization within Corporate & Institutional Banking (C&IB). Our group provides value added solutions and advisory services to a broad array of corporate clients, both public and private, including investment grade and non-investment grade credit profiles. As an active team member, key tasks and responsibilities may include but not be limited to the following:Prepare and participate in the delivery of client presentationsAnalyze a variety of financial situations via comprehensive financial modeling, including pro forma capitalization analysis and forward-looking credit rating impactInteract directly with managing directors and other senior bankers within PNCActively participate in client meetings and due diligence sessionsLead creation of syndication marketing materialsWork closely with managing directors to structure, lead and execute loan transactionsWork directly with analysts to support managing directors in all stages of loan transactions; train and mentor junior team membersComplete research and maintain industry/client databasesProficient at using PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other relevant software programsThis position requires the successful candidate to be licensed or to obtain licenses post-employment: Series 7, 63 and 79.Job Description Using independent judgement and discretion, performs complex financial analyses, conducts research, facilitates due diligence and prepares documents related to capital markets transactions and relationships.Works as part of an assigned team in the origination, structuring and execution of capital markets solutions.Performs complex financial analyses and modeling, conducts research and prepares reports and supporting documents. Leads core work-sets such as due diligence, document processing and industry/company analyses using independent judgement on key indicators. Provides coaching to Analyst and Associate.Partners with senior team members in developing pitches and memorandums, developing new initiatives, executing transactions and providing client relationship support.Develops and maintains advanced industry, client, product, market and regulatory knowledge. Maintains high proficiency with all tools, systems and other resources. Work Experience Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired.
