We are a major regional healthcare resource with a deep commitment to medical education and research, offering a full complement of inpatient and outpatient services.Position Summary:We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Manager, Tech-Neurodiagnostic Testing. In this role, the successful candidate in collaboration with the Neurophysiology laboratory management, provides daily leadership in respect to Neurodiagnostic testing. Responsible for the overall management of the department''s daily operations to achieve quality improvement, fiscal productivity, and patient satisfaction goals and objectives. Promotes improved patient outcomes and the staff''s professional growth and knowledge.Job Responsibilities:Performs other duties as assigned.Works with vendors and helps with issues regarding equipment maintenance.Manages the revenue cycle of the department, charge entry, billing code changes, and associated education.Participates in educational conferences related to EEG and EMG. Reviews studies performed with supervising physician on a regular basis. Provides education, training, performance evaluations and in-services to neurophysiology laboratory staff and new technologists. Serves as a mentor, educator, and resource person in the neurophysiology laboratory.Manages, develops, implements, and maintains the annual operating and overall budget for the Neurodiagnostic laboratory ensuring that operations are managed within established guidelines. Responsible for business growth, patient volume demands and staffing needs personnel schedules for neurophysiology laboratory staff.Develops and implements systems to ensure the quality, efficient, cost-effective operations to support and achieve goals and objectives of the assigned service line.Participates in ongoing quality, service, and process monitoring, policy review, and performance improvement activities related to the assigned service line. Makes continuous, service excellence focused improvements.Oversees clinical practice of Electroencephalography (EEG), Electromyogram (EMG), Evoked Potential (EP), and Ultrasound technologists. Plans, coordinates, and controls the work and procedures.Minimum Qualifications:To qualify, you must have a Bachelor''s Degree in Life Sciences or related field OR equivalent combination of education & experience, required. BLS Certification obtained within one (1) year of employment, required. Certification in at least one (1) modality of Neurodiagnostic testing (EEG): REEGT (Registered EEG Technician) certification OR REPT (Registered-Evoked Potential Technician) certification OR RNCST (Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologist) certification OR CNCT (Nerve Conduction Technologist) certification OR CNIM (Neurophysiologic Intra-Operative Monitoring Technologist) certification OR CLTM (Long Term Monitoring Technologist) certification, required. 3-5 years performing Neurodiagnostic and EEG Studies, required. Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, analytical, multitasking, detail orientation, and organizational skills, required. Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office especially Excel, required.
