THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:The Procurement Analyst receives and analyzes non-merchandise purchase requests from various business units, creates and issues purchase orders, tracks and reports on purchase orders with suppliers for internal customers. The Procurement Analyst is also responsible for tracking deadlines and project milestones, communicating with suppliers, tracking the receipt of goods and services, generating spend and usage reports, overseeing day-to-day contact with suppliers and internal managers, resolving ordering, shipping and/or receiving issues, organizing and coding invoices, and maintaining key procurement data such as articles and non-merchandise catalog information. The Procurement Analyst makes decisions and solves problems that impact the efficiency and effectiveness of company expenditures. The Procurement Analyst shall continuously identify opportunities to optimize expenditures, improve processes and enrich policies and systems to enhance efficiency and meet expense control objectives. S/he will use SAP or other systems to evaluate company expenditures and provide execution for a variety of non-merchandise goods, services, supplies, and materials in the most cost-effective and efficient manner. S/he will support the writing of contracts, analyzing supplier proposals, and evaluate the effectiveness of product and service programs. This position plays a significant role in generating company savings by applying strong analytical, financial and purchasing best practices to impact Ulta''s bottom line.YOU''LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:Analyze data to support the creation of procurement plans and strategiesPrioritize purchasing activities according to company timelines and strategiesAssist in executing departmental responsibilities, including buying of goods and services, tracking and expediting orders, reviewing Ulta requirements and preparing forecastsPartner with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely purchase orders, goods receipt and processing of invoices within SAP or other procurement systemsParticipate in the discovery and implementation of company continuous improvement opportunitiesSupport the Procurement Department to help plan, organize, direct, and execute all associated purchasing activitiesChampion the procurement process throughout UltaStrengthen relationships with suppliers, internal partners, affiliates and professional organizations to bring maximum value to Ulta''s guests, shareholders and employeesProvide purchase order and spend data to Strategic Sourcing Category Managers as requested for meetings and reviews with SuppliersSupport the company in tracking receipt of goods/services as well timely payment for all purchases THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:Bachelor''s degree and/or 5+ years applicable experience preferredStrong working knowledge of SAP and SAP Procurement transactionsIntellectually curious problem solver with proven ability to solve complex problemsExcellent oral and written communicatorAbility to gather, evaluate and summarize large amounts of dataStrong organizational and influencing skillsAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required; strong working knowledge of Access a plusProcess improvement and project management skills and experienceLI-JB2LI-Hybrid ABOUTAt Ulta Beauty (NASDAQ: ULTA), the possibilities are beautiful.
